We would like to send thanks to everybody supporting the rollout of the Covid-19 vaccine and continuing battle against this devastating virus.
Our fight against Covid-19 is far from over but, as you read this letter, we are more than two million jabs towards helping put this pandemic behind us.
Teams of clinicians, administrative staff and volunteers have been working tirelessly for months to protect the people of Kent and Medway.
Whether that’s getting the vaccine to the right place, giving jabs in vaccination centres, or just making sure people know where to go for a vaccine.
If you are part of those vaccination teams or someone who has booked or had their vaccine, we would like to thank you for:
- saving lives
- reducing serious illness
- helping fewer Covid-patients need hospital care
- cutting the risk of developing long-term ill health, if you have Covid-19.
#GrabAJab
Every single jab brings us one step closer to beating this virus, so if you haven’t yet had a Covid-19 vaccination, please book or #GrabAJab as soon as you can.
Everyone aged over 18 is now eligible. You can find out the latest information about booking and local vaccination sites at www.kentandmedwayccg.nhs.uk/covid19vaccine
Thank you once again to everyone who has got us to this point and for your continuing support.
Hands. Face. Space. Fresh Air.
While the jab offers protection against developing serious illness, to stop the spread, it’s vital we all continue to practise Hands. Face. Space. Fresh Air.
Keep regularly testing, so we can put this pandemic in the past and keep it there.
Thank you for your continued support.
