All GP practices are open in Kent and Medway and patients should use them as normal.
They will continue to run NHS services, however, some may choose to make changes to other aspects of how they work.
This is part of a collective action, organised by the British Medical Association (BMA).
Dr Ash Peshen, Deputy Chief Medical Officer at NHS Kent and Medway, said: “If you need an appointment with your GP practice, you should contact them as usual.
“Practices will still be open and see patients and you can book appointments through your GP practice as normal.”
If you’re not sure where to go or what to do, you can use 111 online (111.nhs.uk) or visit your local pharmacist who can help with many common health conditions, such as sore throats, colds and bites.
