Patients registered with Albion Place Medical Practice, Maidstone and Church View Practice, Rainham are getting used to seeing new faces when visiting their GP surgery.
Following successful negotiations between GP service providers, DMC Healthcare signed over contracts to run the practices to Maritime Health Partnership from 1 January 2022.
Maritime Health Partnership is an established provider of GP services in Kent and Medway and has been able to bring in new staff to work with those that people will already be familiar with.
Dr Pro Mallik, Senior GP Partner, Maritime Health Partnership, said: ”We are keen to make sure GP services meet the needs of local people.
“We will be working closely with patients, stakeholders and partners to integrate systems and combine processes to make sure there is a seamless transition.
“I have worked and provided good care for patients in Kent and Medway for over two decades and have the greatest regard for this community.

“We are wholly invested in improving health outcomes and I am delighted Maritime Health Partnership will now be the long-term provider of GP services at Albion Place and Church View and that the existing clinical leads, GPs and teams are joining us in the wider Maritime Health Group.

‘wider workforce’

Patients registered with either practice do not need to do anything as a result of the change and should continue to contact their practice in the normal way.
Both Albion Place and Church View practices have open lists and are accepting new patients.
