General practices offered just under 935,000 appointments to patients across Kent and Medway in July 2024.
This is around 70,000 more appointments than were offered in July 2023.
The data, released by NHS England, also shows that nearly 50,000 people did not attend their appointments. This is 10,000 more than in July 2023.
Most people who are unable to attend their appointment cancel them to allow other people in need to use them.
We would urge anyone who can no longer attend any appointment to please let their practice know.
