The latest general practice appointment figures show that 760,193 appointments were carried out in Kent and Medway in February 2022.
Data released from NHS England shows that nearly 450,000 face-to-face and home visits were undertaken.
Kent and Medway practices carried out nearly 100,000 more appointments when compared to the same month before the pandemic (February 2020) when 669,065 were delivered.
There was a slight increase in the numbers of people not attending their appointments from last month, with nearly 35,000 appointments not attended in February.
We would urge anyone who can no longer attend any appointment (be it with their GP, a vaccination appointment or a hospital appointment) to please cancel them. This allows the NHS to use the time to see other patients in need.
