Pop-up vaccination centres have rolled into Kent and Medway to make sure everyone eligible for a booster has the chance to get one.
Buses hosting the clinics have been stopping around the county during the festive season and will continue into the new year.
More than 955,000 boosters have been given to people living in Kent and Medway during the past couple of weeks; if you haven’t had yours yet, then now is the time to grab that jab and help us reach the one million boosters milestone.

- Tuesday, 4 January, 9am to 5pm: Sevenoaks Leisure Centre, Buckhurst Lane, Sevenoaks TN13 1LW
- Tuesday, 4 January, 9am to 5pm: Kemsley Community Centre, The Square, Ridham Avenue, Kemsley, Sittingbourne ME10 2SF
- Wednesday, 5 January, 9am to 5pm: High Halstow village hall, The Street, Rochester ME3 8SQ
- Wednesday, 5 January, 9am to 5pm: Canterbury Cricket Ground, St Lawrence, Old Dover Road, Canterbury CT1 3NZ
- Thursday, 6 January, 9am to 5pm: The Pantiles car park, Eridge Road, Tunbridge Wells TN4 8HG
- Friday, 7 January, 9am to 5pm: The Pantiles car park, Eridge Road, Tunbridge Wells TN4 8HG.
NHS Kent and Medway Clinical Commissioning Group’s Chief Nurse Paula Wilkins said: “With 77 per cent of eligible adults in Kent and Medway now boosted, this additional capacity means those who haven’t been able to, now have even more options for getting their all-important booster vaccination. These buses are working alongside many other local clinics also offering walk-in vaccinations.
“As we have all seen over Christmas, Omicron is very much around and two doses may not give enough protection from it, getting your booster is vital as we head into 2022. I would like to say thank you to everyone who has had their booster vaccination to protect themselves, their family and friends.”
Notes
- Following the Government’s announcement on Sunday, 12 December 2021, everyone aged 18 and over is now eligible for their booster vaccination, as long as it’s been at least three months since their second dose, or 28 days since they’ve had a positive Covid-19 test.
- The national booking service has been updated to allow everyone over 18-years-old to book their Covid-19 booster.
- Since Monday, 13 December anyone eligible can access walk-in vaccination clinics. Not all clinics are providing a walk-in service. Anyone looking to attend should check availability first.
- There could be queues outside the clinics, and we recommend anyone attending dresses appropriately for the cold weather.
