This page hosts material from NHS Kent and Medway to promote the Stop Think Choose campaign.
Stop Think Choose helps patients make an informed choice about the type of care they need, from self-care to using an urgent treatment centre.
We run this campaign all year, focused on times of pressure (bank holidays, school holidays, Christmas etc) and can be deployed whenever needed.
Key messages
- choose the right service for your needs
- pharmacies can help with minor illnesses
- order prescription medicines in plenty of time
- UTCs are open 365 days a year across the county
- if you aren't sure where to go, visit NHS 111 online or www.stopthinkchoose.co.uk
We produce web and social media graphics, newsletter and media content and audience focused materials.
As well as sharing these on our own channels, we promote these messages on the radio, in partner publications (council and community health magazines, for example), and by creating materials for specific patient groups.
As an example, you can read our student guide here.
You can find the latest, seasonal campaign materials to use in your own communications here.
If you have any questions or comments about the campaign, please email: kmicb.engagecomms@nhs.net
Stop Think Choose video content can be found on NHS Kent and Medway YouTube channel and can be downloaded or shared.
